not finished

"somewhere, both in front of and behind these vinyl letters, sits a vast cerebral landscape"
Picture
transparent blue acrylic sheet with dark grey vinyl lettering  400mm x 400mm x 3mm  wall mounted on 15mm clear acrylic spacers

so small yet so powerful - the word ‘yet’ is about potential, it is fecund and laden with time

it has a sense of latency, of concealment: a state of existing, but not yet manifest

'yet’ is about to happen, is happening, yet hasn’t happened...  yet

'yet' is liminal - yet is durational

it is the beginning: a cognitive initiation process

Picture
nevertheless, at the same time, and in addition, it can also mean, “nevertheless”,  "at the same time" and “in addition”

it is wholly intangible, yet, somehow by examining this workaday word, it takes on an existence . . . it simply becomes

the cognitive, the philosophical and lexical semantics each become in this little arrangement of letters

with them came disease and christianity
